System Wide Fall Reporting Deadline Nov. 17

The annual space inventory report is the University's official record of existing space and space assignments. Each year all system wide campuses submit their inventory to the University of California Office of the President (UCOP), based on a snapshot taken during the Fall semester. This snapshot is used as a basis for comparison to prior years and for future projections. The campus space database is fluid, with buildings added and subtracted throughout the year, so it is essential to have a consistent point of reference for bench marking purposes.

The Office of Planning, Design and Construction Management (PDCM) manages Campus Space Inventory and must submit this annual report in December. The deadline for submitting your department space inventory is Tuesday, November 17, 2020.

Schools and departments are asked to finalize changes to their space inventory by Tuesday, November 17, 2020. Prior to the UCOP submission PDCM reviews all submissions to resolve any issues and/or clarifications needed before accepting or rejecting changes. 

Detailed instructions for reviewing the space inventory and a copy of the current space inventory data will be sent directly to those identified as space managers at the School and Division levels. PDCM is happy to schedule individual time with Schools and/or Divisions, to aid in supporting this process. Please email spaceinventory@ucmerced.edu for any assistance needed.
