Viewing Campus Space in MetaBIM
Access Required: Viewing department space, reports, and highlighted floor plans requires an active MetaBIM account.

After logging into MetaBIM, select the question below that best matches what you are trying to accomplish.
How do I highlight which departments or divisions occupy space in a building?
- From the MetaBIM Home Page, open the Buildings or Floor Plans module.
- Select your building and then select the floor.
- At the top right, select “Select a Theme.”
- Choose “Divisions – Current” or “Departments – Current.”
- The floor plan will display a color-coded breakdown of assigned space.
How do I highlight only one specific department or division?
- Open the floor plan using the steps above.
- Select “Divisions – Current” or “Departments – Current.”
- Scroll down to the breakdown list.
- Select a department or division from the list.
- The floor plan will update to highlight only that selected group’s space.
How do I export all space assigned to a department?
- Open the Department module.
- Select the Listing tab.
- Search for the department.
- Open the department page.
- Under Report Gallery, select Space Inventory.
- Download the report in your preferred format (XLSX or CSV).
How do I find which buildings a department occupies?
- Open the Department module.
- Select the Listing tab.
- Search for and open the department page.
- Review the department summary to see all building floor plans assigned.
How do I find department or division contact information?
- Open the Division or Department module.
- Select the division or department of interest.
- Scroll to the Contacts section for names, phone numbers, and email information.
